Betty was the CFO of companies like Dropbox, AngelList, Nominum and several other prominent companies when they were in their early stages.
Co-founder & Chief Scientist
Shashi has extensive experience working at the intersection of cybersecurity and AI. Prior to RedMarlin, Shashi was security researcher at Cisco where he developed machine learning algorithms to catch billions of spam messages. He holds a Masters in CS from the Johns Hopkins University and Bachelors in EE from the Indian Institute of Technology.

Abhishek is co-author of book Android Security Attacks & Defenses and has more than 13 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity. Prior to RedMarlin, Abhishek led machine learning and security research teams at Cisco. He holds a Master’s degree in Information Security from Carnegie Mellon University.

Dr. Dena Haritos Tsamitis
Director, Information Networking Institute at Carnegie Mellon University
Dena has led CMU's Information Networking Institute (INI) as director since 2004. Dena was the 2017 recipient of the Barbara Lazarus Professorship in Information Networking at Carnegie Mellon University. She is also the founding director of CyLab - CMU's security and privacy research institute. Dena holds B.S. in Information Science from University of Pittsburgh and PhD from University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Paul Mockapetris
Inventor of DNS
Paul expanded the Internet beyond its academic origins by inventing the Domain Name System (DNS) in 1983 at the University of Southern California. In the past, Paul served as chair of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) and the Research Working Group and US Federal Networking Council. He is currently Chief Scientist at ThreatSTOP. Paul holds B.S. in Physics and EE from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and PhD in Computer Science from UC Irvine.
Dr. Ravi Thomas
Associate Professor, Carnegie Mellon University
Ravi specializes in teaching Software Management and Technology Ventures programs at CMU Silicon Valley. He also mentors CMU-based startups as the director of VentureBridge program, a program open to CMU students and alumni seeking to launch their own high-tech businesses. Ravi holds BSc and MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE) and PhD in Economics from UC Berkeley.
